Once again, the fifth issue of the journal Reartikulacija focuses on the urge for de-linking from capital in the current neoliberal setting, and points to the various strategies of resistance against the colonial matrix of knowledge. Moreover, it brings the analyses of artistic, cultural, social and political matrixes of neoliberal global capitalism and unveils how forms of concealed social consent – especially in critical situations such as the current global financial crisis – enable the constant reproduction of the neoliberal matrix and consequently the deregulation of the whole social structure. The present issue also reflects the growing social stratification, racial, gender and religious discriminatory processes as well as the ever more severe deprivations of basic human rights such as the right to education and social security. Exploitation wielded by the neoliberal capitalist matrix is not only a paranoid illusion fostered by the skeptics of the neoliberal ideology but the reality of today's world of which we are a constitutive part.
