C-Collection's philosophy is still to foster and promote creativity - regardless of religion or nationality. The foundation is looking to invest in remarkable and talented artists at all times. Subscriber users can participate in and influence purchasing decisions through an online vote to determine which of the most popular works submitted should be included in the collection. We are always interested in your feedback.
Based on these facts C-Collection is pleased to introduce a current artwork by the exceptional American artist Janice Sloane. In her distinctive work, the theme of skin and its impermanence has always been a constant. She finds that latex is a very tactile and sensuous medium in which to convey her ideas of the flesh. Her creations are primarily inspired by cosmetic plastic surgery, African art, ritual objects and painting references. These heads are also intended to address society's pressure for 'perfect beauty', eternal youth and conformity. More about Janice Sloane
