The Others, Turin, 4-6 November 2011

The Others is a new event devoted to emerging contemporary art.

The appointment is in Turin from November 4 to 6, 2011, in the captivating spaces of Le Nuove, the former prison in the heart of the city.

The Others is intended to give space and visibility to those who believe and invest in young contemporary artists and who are rarely present at art fairs.

The Others are all those who offer a continuous program of commercial and nonprofit events devoted to emerging artists: galleries inaugurated after January 2009, nonprofit spaces, associations and foundations, artist collectives, artist run spaces, editorial programs, art prizes, artist residencies, art schools and academies. Come and meet at The Others to focus on the global community of emerging art.

The participation fee is accessible to exhibitors and includes accommodations in Turin for the duration of the fair.

Opening hours are from 6:00pm – 1:00am, with a performing area available to the exhibitors for launching books and publications, musical and theatrical performances, dj sets, video projections, making Le Nuove a place of encounter for art lovers and a young public.
