48 INTERNATIONAL ART GALLERIES AT THE PALACE ES SAADI

11.30 – 8.30 pm, but on Monday October 3, until 7.30 pm
For its second edition, Marrakech Art Fair returns at the Palace Es Saadi with 48 international galleries coming from 11 countries to exhibit major modern and contemporary artists. In addition, Marrakech Art Fair promises great artistic meetings in the city thanks to video artists who will be in the place of honor throughout the cultural circuit taking place in emblematic places of Marrakech. A series of round tables and conference are also planned for Marrakech Art Fair visitors.

At Jamaa El Fna square in Marrakech, the former Bank Al Maghrib agency welcomes « Images Affranchies » ['Liberated images'], an exhibition curated by Brahim Alaoui showcasing photos and videos realized by contemporary artists from the Arab world: Adel Abidin, Leila Alaoui, Halim Al Karim, Hicham Benohoud, Meriem Bouderbala, Mohamed El Baz, Ninar Esber, Mounir Fatmi, Nicène Kossentini, Amal Kenawy, Mehdi Meddaci, Youssef Nabil, Moataz Nasr, Khalil Nemmamaoui, Yazid Oulab, Younès Rahmoun, Faysal Samra and Wael Shawky. To continue the reflection initiated by this exhibition, Marrakech Art Fair holds a debate organised by Brahim Alaoui and Paul Ardenne at the Palace Es Saadi, on Saturday October 1, at 5.30 pm.

ARTISTS' VIDEOS AND FILMS AT LE COLISEE
The mythical cinema of Marrakech Le Colisée and the ESAV (Marrakech Graduate school of visual arts) will welcome an artistic program conceived by the CNAP (National Center of Plastic Arts) and present artists' videos gathered by two couples of collectors: Jean-Michel and Charlotte Attal, but also Jean Conrad and Isabelle Lemaître.
