Artist in Residency, Shanghai at The Swatch Art Peace Hotel

The Swatch Art Peace Hotel Guest Artist Program invites known and unknown artists from around the world, to live and work in artist studios on the hotel premises for periods of up to six months.

- All artistic disciplines are welcome
- We offer integrated or separated working and living space (30 – 70 m2 on average)
- For up to 18 international artists, and artists only
- Priority is to provide space for a dynamic and vibrant period of work
- From 3 to 6 months
- Wireless-Lan
- Kitchen for artists

If selected, the artist will benefit from accommodation in the luxurious Swatch Art Peace Hotel incl. breakfast and coverage for one return flight ticket and a regular business visa.

- Material, daily expenses, additional interior etc. on own account
- No dangerous material or tools allowed
- There are no exhibitions foreseen – every artist is asked to leave a trace of his stay to be shown in the Virtual Museum.

Applications to be submitted only via website: register first, log in with account, fill in application and finally submit by donation to 'doctors without borders'.

There are no deadlines. The exact length of the stay will be discussed individually depending on the artist's and the space availability.
