Moscow Photobiennale Way contemporary art with a persnonal touch
BW presents its third guide for the 9th International Moscow Photobiennale 2012, designed by Thomas Eberwein aka Thomas Traum, the star of the world graphic design and the member of major art awards' jury.
Want to remind that BiennaleWay's mission is to incorporate the biggest world biennales of contemporary art: Venice, Berlin, Moscow, Sydney, San Paolo and many more; and to make your trip through the biennale easy and enjoyable. Using your location, the application will show the most convenient route to explore the selected biennale and will display the exhibitions closest to you.
Handy navigation is via Google Maps and Street View. BiennaleWay opens the unique opportunity to look at the exhibitions through the eyes of art-insiders. The routes, compiled from recommendations by key figures of world contemporary art scene, are now available for you.
The first edition of the Biennale Way was available for the tour through the 54th Venice Biennale. In September 2011, the 2nd issue of Biennale Way was launched - it guided the guests of the 4th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art.
BiennaleWay makes your biennale experience and journey through an unfamiliar city as simple as possible, providing user with easy-to-read maps, tips and recommendations, and the unique routes off the beaten path.
The new exclusive feature of the 3rd guide is the built-in options - you can buy the unique OST written for that issue and animated sound cover by renowned sound designer, besides that you can download your own special wallpaper for your device from Thomas Traum . Plus you can unblock the insider's tips for the best hidden and non-touristic places to eat at, have drinks, where to stay and where to go see most interesting and exciting things.
Biennale Way itself is a real work of art. A guide to each location is distinguished by its style interface created by a guest designer. The Venice Biennale guide was designed by Tom Tosseyn, a graphic artist working with Raf Simons. Design of the Moscow Biennale guide was created by Protey Temen.
The way to contemporary art must be contemporary!
