Apply Now: TheWallArtFair

TheWallArtFair™ was initiated and created by the founders of the DocksArtFair™, an international contemporary art fair which takes place every 2 years in Lyon-France during the inaugural week of the Biennial of Contemporary Art.

The yearly periodicity of the DocksArtFair™ was therefore an obvious choice for the Art Fair creators and gallery owners involved. However reproducing exactly the same concept outside of this biennial event seemed unlikely as it has become so intimately linked with the Biennale itself.

Taking into consideration both its success and its intensity, Docks Art Fair therefore decided to create TheWallArtFair™ which is to alternate with the Biennial. The first TheWallArtFair™ will take place in Lyon from 27th – 30th September 2012.

THE CONCEPT OF THE WALL ART FAIR:

A wall - a single one - imposing dimensions, H 3.15 m x L 6 m instead of usual stand proposed on all fairs.

Raw, unpainted, made ​​up of plates of plasterboard, the wall leaves any possible intervention to the exhibitors to highlight the works shown.

Each gallery is given a raw wall and / or the front of it, the installation on them is completely free. While eliminating the constraints of conventional stand, TheWallArtFair ™ offers a fair low cost.

The price of the exhibition booth, the wall of 3.15 x 6 m and the space on the floor of 2 x 6 m (36.9 m²) : 2 900 € excluded VAT
