Set up in the spirit of inspiring interaction during private views, ArtClit launches with an exhibition of socially focused work in the social space of Shoreditch's Catch Bar. This is a month-long show, with the diverse artists exhibiting works that encourage or require participation of the viewer within the space. We have hand picked creatives working across different fields, from erotic city tales by Goldsmith MA Politics scholar Nicolas to French DJ/ Photographer NiZ. We are aiming to create fireworks with the most exciting mix of crowds. During the Private View, the artists will be hidden amongst the crowd, setting up situational games and conversational topics to play with the guests and judging rewards for the winners. These events will be documented and the resultant photographs and videos shown throughout the rest of the exhibition as well as on the ArtClit website. During the night there will be music from the ever-inspirational (and fully interactive) DJ set from Too Young To Love (& more acts tbc), unique themed cocktails, and free exhibition catalogues with ArtClit's own branded condoms.
