Open call for radio projects - Deadline September 9
ECHOES is a programme of events for the city of Lisbon that explores the experience of LISTENING and PLACE. Part of this programme is a series of curated radio broadcasts in partnership with Stress.Fm and the Lisbon Architecture Triennale. The programme invites a rethinking of the role of radio and its ability to intervene within local and international communities.
Our second open call broadcast, 19- 22 September is titled 'Intermission'.
'Intermission' invites an international response asking you to make an 'audio portrait' of your locality by recording a 20 minute walk- mapping the air space between a and b. The ambition for this project is to create a 3 day radio broadcast that maps a patchwork of sonic landscapes from Bristol to Bangalore, Lisbon to L.A and Mexico City to Milford-On-Sea.
All tracks will be fully credited with weblinks on the Echoes site.
