Every 3 years the ikob honours the creativity of the emerging art scene. This year the prize is double with the ikob-Award | Euregio, bestowed on an artist from the Euregio Meuse-Rhine with the support of the German-speaking Community and the ikob-Award | International, granted by a generous patron from the Eupen region. The call for applications was open to all artistic disciplines and to artists that are younger than 45 years. An international jury has selected, among the many candidatures, a total of 10 nominees (5 per category) and 2 laureates. The award ceremony takes place at the exhibition's opening on 7 June. Two awards and an exhibition that reflect the international and cross-border positioning of the ikob as well as its dedication for contemporary creation.
