Ars Kozara is both Art in nature laboratory and AIR (Artists in residence) program. It is being held at the National Park 'Kozara' from 2007, in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has been conceptualized as an unique 'open air gallery' in the Balkan and more, with artworks exhibited alongside the paths of locality Glavuša. This manifestation has been initiated and led by Visual Artists Group Tač.ka from Prijedor.

For 2015, 8th Ars Kozara is publishing an international Open call for participation, targeting artists with no media limitations. For more info about the application form, propositions and criteria visit our website.

The Art Laboratory / AIR offers:
Production, accommodation, food (three meals daily) and refreshment, local transportation according to program activities, technical and logistic support, promotion, documentation.

We are looking for:
Artists and art professionals (up to 40 years old) willing to create and co- create in biodegradable materials, inspired with 'art in nature' concept or using mountain Kozara setting (and heritage) as the base of their work.

What we need from the artists:
To develop one new artwork individually and participate in a joint, site-specific work – alternative pavilion of Bosnia and Herzegovina on mountain Kozara. All artworks need to be finalized during the art laboratory.

Dates:
Open call: 22.06.- 19.07.2015
Selection: 20.- 24.07.2015
Announcement of selected candidates: 24.07.2015
8th Ars Kozara: 07.08.- 22.08.2015

Fee:
Selected artists from former Yugoslavia are not obliged to pay the fee.
Artists from other countries pay 100 €, on arrival.
