Welcome to Iaspis Open House!
When the Iaspis programme opens the doors of its studio residencies for a day, it is an invitation to take part in the on-going artistic processes. The Iaspis studio programme is in itself a platform for informal and formal meetings with Swedish and international artists and with professional audiences with the aim to add to a greater internationalization of the applied and visual art scene in Sweden. This time we are pleased to also include the current studio grant holder from the International Dance Programme within Iaspis Open House.
CuratorLab, a curatorial research programme at Konstfack, was invited by Iaspis to collaborate on the upcoming Open House that takes on the concept of openness, hospitality, transparency and vulnerability. In a series of day and night events Open House will present the work in progress of artists in residence, as well as host performative interventions of the Stockholm emerging scene, with its collectives contributing with food, self-made publication on demand, and a music repertoire.
