How to find your way through the flood of images in today's digital world? How does this non-stop visual information affect our everyday lives? In which ways can artistic strategies in the form of critical image practices contribute to solving problems in contemporary society? The two-year Master in Fine Arts degree programme, with its elective Majors (specialisations) Art in Public Spheres and Critical Image Practices, prepares students for a site-specific intervention under the artistic guidance of Monica Studer and Christoph van den Berg. Collaborative practices and intensively mentored solo projects are key.
